Popular Kpop girl group BLACKPINK Jennie showed off her “social butterfly-ish” side by attending a birthday party for The Weeknd (34). The two had previously worked together in the HBO drama “The Idol,” which aired last year.

On the 18th, Mimi Tohmé, the founder of jewelry brand Tohmé, posted photos taken at The Weeknd’s birthday party. And some pictures with Jennie garnered a lot of attention.

In the photos that were released, Jennie was wearing a see-through dress. She captivated the audience by wrapping her arm around Mimi Tohmé’s waist. They looked intimate as Jennie rested her face on Mimi Tohmé’s body.

Fans showed positive reactions, saying, “Jennie is a real hot girl,” “Wonderful woman,” “All-time legend,” and “It’s good to see they get along,” supporting the friendship between Jennie and Mimi Tohmé.

Meanwhile, Jennie re-signed a contract for Blackpink group activities with YG Entertainment last December, which she had been with for a long time. However, she did not sign a contract for individual activities.

Jennie later established a company called Odd Atelier (OA) for her solo activities, saying, “I’m going to try standing alone.” OA is a label co-founded with her mother. She hinted at her full-fledged solo activities: “I ask for a lot of love for both Blackpink and my new challenge.”

Jennie starts her solo activity in the tvN variety show “Apartment 404,” which is scheduled to air on the 24th. Expectations are high for her future solo activities.
