BTS V unveils a heartwarming love song, perfect for the spring season.

Big Hit Music announced on Weverse and BTS’ social media that V’s new digital single “FRI(END)S” will drop on March 15 at 1 PM KST (midnight on March 14 PST).

“FRI(END)S” is a love song in the Pop Soul R&B genre, with all the lyrics written in English. The image released with the announcement shows the song title and the release date, and the bright pink background gives a glimpse of the song’s lovely atmosphere.

Fueling anticipation for his upcoming single, V dropped a cryptic short video on BTS’ official social media on March 3. The clip featured him in a natural, unadorned look, igniting fan curiosity about the new content.

V’s upcoming single arrives roughly six months after his critically acclaimed debut solo album, Layover, released last September 8. Recognized for his exceptional solo artistry on Layover, V is now captivating fans with the promise of his unique charm in this new track.

V plans to release content, such as concept photos and teaser videos, that hint about the new song, “FRI(END)S.”
