K-pop group TWICE reaches the pinnacle of the U.S. music scene, topping the Billboard 200, and shares their joy and appreciation.
TWICE, through their agency JYP Entertainment, expressed their disbelief and continued awe at topping the Billboard 200 with their latest album, just weeks after their previous release, “Ready to Be,” secured a remarkable second-place finish on the same chart.
Fueling anticipation, Billboard revealed in a chart preview that TWICE’s thirteenth mini-album, “With YOU-th,” had dethroned chart favorites like Morgan Wallen, claiming the coveted #1 spot on the Billboard 200.
TWICE shared, “Hearing the news of reaching number one on the Billboard 200 filled us with immense gratitude, especially towards our amazing fans, ONCE. This incredible achievement wouldn’t be possible without their unwavering support and love, especially as we celebrate our tenth year since debut.”
Other members added, “With ONCE as our guiding light, we’re committed to forging ahead on our musical journey.”
TWICE first entered the Billboard 200 with their ninth mini-album, “More & More,” in 2020, and have consistently made their name on the chart with every album released since.
Their latest album, “With YOU-th”, set a new personal record by becoming a million-seller with 1,063,615 copies sold in the first week of release according to the Hanteo Chart.
TWICE is on its fifth world tour, Ready to Be, with 49 shows in 27 regions worldwide. They are performing at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas this month and at the Yanmar Stadium Nagai and Nissan Stadium in Osaka and Kanagawa, Japan, in July.
