Stray Kids celebrated their sixth anniversary amidst the warm attention and love of their worldwide fans.
Having officially debuted on March 25, 2018, Stray Kids marked their 6th anniversary on March 25, 2024, by posting content on their official social media channels and spending the special day with their global fandom, STAY.
The congratulatory image of the eight members, Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N, released at midnight, attracted attention with the group’s solid unity, and the unpublished photos and short-form videos released in the afternoon served as a pleasant surprise for the fans. The photos taken in matching dress codes, from T-shirts to glasses, conveyed the warmth of their close-knit relationship like a family. They also held a live session on their official YouTube channel at 10 p.m., interacting with fans from both Korea and abroad.
Feeding off the massive support of their fans and experiencing significant growth each year, Stray Kids has established itself as a “K-pop sensation.” Last year, in particular, they achieved remarkable success in the global music market. Their mini album 樂-STAR (Rockstar), released in November 2023, topped the Billboard 200 four times in a row, and its title track “Rock (樂)” made history by being the first K-pop 4th generation boy group song to enter the Hot 100. In April of the same year, they completed the finale of their second world tour, MANIAC, with two sold-out encore performances at the Bank of California Stadium (BMO Stadium) in Los Angeles, USA, covering 42 shows across 18 cities.
Stray Kids are forecasting an even higher flight in 2024. They will headline stages at three major overseas music festivals: I-Days in Milan, Italy, on July 12 (local time), BST Hyde Park in London, UK, on the 14th, and Lollapalooza in Chicago, USA, from August 1 to 4th.
Before this, they are scheduled to meet fans at their fourth official fan meeting, Stray Kids 4TH FAN MEETING ‘SKZ’S MAGIC SCHOOL,’ to be held at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa District, Seoul, from March 29 to 31st.
