NewJeans adds another prestigious American Music Award to its growing trophy case, further solidifying its global influence.

NewJeans (Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, Hyein) won the Best New Artist (K-Pop) category at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards, held in Los Angeles on April 1. Since 2014, the prestigious Ceremony Has recognized the year’s most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio, the famous American online radio platform.

In a heartfelt video, NewJeans expressed gratitude to their fans, the Bunnies. “Your support gives us the strength to work hard daily,” they said. The group thanked everyone who had helped them on their journey.

Last November, they took home the Top Global K-Pop Artist award at the prestigious Billboard Music Awards, solidifying their international popularity. Their incredible journey continued the previous month with a history-making win at the Billboard Women in Music Awards. NewJeans became the first K-Pop act ever to win Group of the Year, proving their unstoppable rise to the top.

They shattered records by reaching the top of the Billboard 200 album chart in just one year – the fastest climb ever by a K-pop group. But the hits don’t stop there – they landed five songs on the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 chart, including “OMG,” “Ditto,” and “Super Shy.” Their explosive popularity took them to the biggest stages, performing at major international music festivals like Lollapalooza Chicago and Summer Sonic in Japan.

NewJeans will release double singles in Korea and Japan on May 24 and June 21, respectively, and plans to promote them actively in both countries. The fan meeting Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome will be held at Tokyo Dome in Japan on June 26-27 and will feature a stage with 24 songs, including four new songs.
