Lisa, who is preparing to release a new solo album with RCA Records, expressed, “I’m super excited to be joining the RCA family, and I am confident they are the best team to create a bigger movement in my solo career” and added, “I am Looking forward to showing the world everything we have been preparing.”

Peter Edge, chairman and CEO of RCA Records, and COO John Fleckenstein also stated, “We are incredibly proud to partner with Lisa and Lloyd Co. Lisa is a multidimensional talent and an irrefutable global force. We welcome her and her team to the RCA Records family.”

By signing a partnership with RCA Records, Lisa aligns herself with world-renowned artists such as A$AP Rocky, Becky G, Doja Cat, Foo Fighters, Justin Timberlake, KAYTRANADA, Latto, Mark Ronson, P!NK, Steve Lacy, SZA, Tems, Tate McRae, Victoria Monet, WizKid. As part of the label, Lisa plans to expand her global influence.

Apart from her activities with BLACKPINK, Lisa has achieved global success as a solo artist. In 2021, she became the first female artist to sell about 750,000 copies in the first week of release in South Korea with Lalisa, and both “Lalisa” and “Money” ranked in the TOP 10 of the US Billboard Global 200 charts. In particular, “Money” holds the record for staying the longest on the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart as a K-pop solo female artist.

Furthermore, Lisa holds the record for the most Instagram followers among K-pop artists in 2023, with over 120 million followers. She has broken Guinness World Records by being the first K-pop solo to win at both the MTV Video Music Awards and the MTV Europe Music Awards. Beyond music, Lisa has confirmed her participation in season 3 of the HBO original series The White Lotus, marking her official screen debut.
