The solo fan meeting commemorating the 12th anniversary of EXO’s debut this year has wrapped up successfully.

2024 EXO FAN MEETING: ONE occurred twice on the 14th, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., at the Incheon Yeongjongdo Inspire Arena. The 7 p.m. session, live-streamed online via Beyond Live and Weverse Live, confirmed EXO’s enduring global appeal as fans from 103 regions worldwide, including the U.S., Mexico, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Malaysia, joined virtually through Beyond Live.

During the fan meeting, six members of EXO, excluding Kai and Sehun, who currently serve in the military, graced the stage. They entertained fans with a ladder game, tackling group and individual missions within a 99-second timeframe. Tasks included quirky challenges like standing on paper together, jumping rope with acupressure slippers on, and moving ping pong balls with a spoon, eliciting the audience’s laughter. Additionally, they captivated fans by doing the challenge for their winter song “First Snow,” which remarkably soared to the top of the music charts a decade after its initial release.

Furthermore, EXO treated fans to live performances that showcased their vocal prowess, delivering passionate renditions of songs such as “Hear Me Out,” “Universe,” “XOXO,” “3.6.5,” “Butterfly Girl,” “Peter Pan,” and “First Snow.” They curated the setlist based on pre-votes from EXO-Ls, incorporating medleys of their beloved title tracks like “Cream Soda,” “Obsession,” “Tempo,” “Ko Ko Bop,” “Monster,” as well as B-side tracks including “Butterfly Effect,” “Your Gesture,” “White Noise,” “Forever,” and “Gravity.” This electrifying mix kept the atmosphere charged and the fans thoroughly engaged throughout the event.

Fans at the venue, adorned in sky-blue attire as per the members’ dress code, not only enthusiastically cheered and waved their light sticks throughout the over two-hour event but also engaged in various activities to interact with EXO, whom they were reuniting with after a considerable period. These interactions included a slogan event featuring phrases such as “Our journey, clumsy but full of love, will create a new season” and “Just like that time, that moment, I’ll be by your side unchangingly,” as well as sing-along sessions for “Peter Pan” and “Heaven.”

In response to the fans’ overwhelming support, EXO expressed their heartfelt gratitude with an encore performance of “I’ll Protect You.” They conveyed, “We’re happy to celebrate the 12th anniversary together, and seeing the silver wave created by EXO-Ls after a long time makes us happy. While the members are doing well in their activities, the synergy of EXO is perfect when we’re together like this. We’re continually planning for the next steps, and I’ll be back with new music and stages, so please look forward to it. Let’s love without limits!”
