RIIZE won the “million seller” title with her first single album, Get A Guitar, just a week after her official debut, creating a shining record.

RIIZE’s first single album, Get A Guitar, released on September 4th, recorded a sales volume of 1,016,849 copies according to the initial sales (sales volume in the first week after release) on the music sales aggregation site Hanteo Chart, confirming RIIZE’s explosive popularity as it became a super-fast million seller.

In particular, RIIZE had already announced that she would enter the ranks of million sellers by surpassing pre-orders of 1.03 million copies, proving herself as a ‘next-level’ rookie. As she recorded sales of over 1.01 million copies in just a week, all eyes are now focused on RIIZE’s career, which will continue to grow perpetually.

Furthermore, this album reached 1st place on the iTunes Top Songs chart and the top 10 in 20 regions worldwide, including Melon’s Top 100 chart. It also got 1st place on China’s QQ Music Rising Chart and major domestic music charts. In addition, it received significant attention from local media such as NME, Clash, Forbes, Bloomberg, and Consequence of Sound, marking a brilliant start for RIIZE’s unique genre, “Emotional Pop.”

Moreover, RIIZE has started her full-fledged activities by appearing on music shows such as Mnet’s M Countdown, KBS2TV’s Music Bank, MBC’s Show! Music Core and SBS’s Inkigayo captivated the audience with performances of three songs showcasing her charms: the title track “Get A Guitar” and the prologue singles “Memories” and “Siren.”

Meanwhile, RIIZE, a rookie group consisting of seven elite members under SM Entertainment, is a team that aims to ‘rise together and realize dreams.’ They proved their hot popularity even before their official debut by surpassing 1 million followers on their official Instagram account within just four days, setting the record for the shortest time among K-pop groups.
