Bill Clinton’s Health Update: Is the Former President Okay After Being Hospitalized?

wikitree Views

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton, the seventy-eight-year-old, has been hospitalized with a high fever, according to reports. Major American media outlets, including NBC News, broke the story on Monday.

Clinton served as the forty-second President of the United States from 1993 to 2001 and has been actively campaigning for Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate in this year’s election.

Sources indicate that Clinton was admitted to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., for tests and observation on Monday afternoon.

A source close to Clinton informed NBC News that while the former president was hospitalized due to health concerns, his condition was not critical.

The news agency added, “The former president will be fine. He had a fever and wanted to get checked out. He’s awake and alert.”

Angel Ureña, Clinton’s former press secretary, also released a statement on social media, “He’s in good spirits and is very appreciative of the excellent care he’s receiving.”

Clinton has faced several health challenges since leaving office. He underwent heart bypass surgery in 2004, had a stent placed to widen a coronary artery in 2010, and was hospitalized in 2021 for sepsis related to a urinary tract infection.
