Wake Up to the Smell of Freshly Baked Dinner Rolls

Daniel Kim Views

Today, we’ll introduce a recipe for making dinner rolls, perfect for preparing a home brunch.

The dinner rolls and butter rolls are incredibly soft and moist, perfect for tearing apart and eating as is.

Cut in half and layer with cheese, scrambled eggs, or omelet, there you have it, a perfect sandwich.

It is such an easy-to-make perfect brunch menu.

We like to mix in a bit of rye or whole wheat when we make dinner rolls.

This adds a richer flavor, making it delicious even when eaten plain.

When shaping the dough, we make round ones as well as rolled-out ones to create butter roll shapes.

We shape them up after stretching the dough out long.

This way, it feels like you’re eating two different types of bread, which makes it more fun.

Also, the texture varies depending on the shaping method, so you can choose which one you want to eat.

= Making Home Brunch Butter Roll Dinner Roll=

Ingredients: 230g of strong flour, 70g of whole wheat, 6g of instant dry yeast, 30g of sugar, 5g of salt, 1 egg, 160g of water, 40g of butter

1. Mix all the dry ingredients well and put aside.

2. Add the liquids and knead the dough.

3. Once there is no dry part in the dough, add the butter and knead so that it can fully absorb.

4. After kneading for about 20 minutes, shape it into a ball and do the first rise for an hour.

5. Divide the dough into 40-50g pieces, shape them into balls, and do the second rise for 20 minutes.

6. For the dinner roll shape, simply shape them into balls again. For the butter roll shape, make a spiral shape, then roll it out with a rolling pin and roll it up.

7. Let them rise for 50 minutes.

8. Bake for 10-12 minutes in an oven preheated to 392 degrees Fahrenheit.

If you do an egg wash before you bake, you will get a more golden color.

If you’re going to eat it right away, brush some melted butter on the top after baking.

It will add a nice shine and aroma.

You can also prepare it using a slow fermentation process.

In that case, you can leave the shaped dough in the refrigerator

We left it in for a day, took it to room temperature 30 minutes before baking, and then baked it. This method enhances the flavor.

If you tear a freshly baked morning bread, you’ll find its irresistible soft, fluffy texture.

It melts in your mouth just like cotton candy, giving you an amazing taste experience.

Spread some butter or cream cheese on it and add a bit of jam for an even tastier butter roll and dinner roll.

Try preparing it for brunch.

Enjoy your meal!
