Stray Kids Dominate Billboard K-Pop Artist 100: All 8 Members Land Top 10 Spots

joynews24 Views

Stray Kids continues its reign! The group claims the top spots on Billboard’s K-Pop Artist 100, securing the highest ranking for 4th generation K-Pop.

On March 2h, Billboard unveiled its inaugural K-Pop Artist 100 chart, showcasing the group’s immense global impact. Remarkably, all eight members of Stray Kids – Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N – landed within the Top 10, marking a historic achievement as the only 4th generation K-Pop group to claim such complete dominance.

Debuting this year to coincide with the launch of Billboard Korea, the Billboard K-Pop Artist 100 is a new annual ranking honoring the top 100 K-Pop artists based on their performance on Billboard’s main charts – the Billboard 200, Hot 100 and Boxscore Top Tour Chart – from the previous year.

Stray Kids established a remarkable record, topping the Billboard 200 four consecutive times. This impressive streak began in March 2022 with ODDINARY and continued with MAXIDENT, ★★★★★ (5-STAR), and most recently, 樂-STAR (ROCKSTAR). Their unique artistry shone further as they entered the Hot 100 chart with the title track “Rock (樂)” from “樂-STAR (ROCKSTAR),” becoming only the second K-Pop boy group after BTS and the first in the 4th generation to achieve this feat.

Building upon their momentum, Stray Kids recently landed the top spot among 4th generation K-Pop acts on the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) 2023 Global Artist Chart, ranking an impressive #3. They further solidified their global presence by claiming the #2 and #9 positions on the Global Album Chart.

Stray Kids continues its global momentum as the first K-Pop boy group to headline the I-Days festival in Milan and the iconic BST Hyde Park festival in London.

Stray Kids will treat fans to a magical experience at their fourth official fan meeting, Stray Kids 4TH FANMEETING SKZ’S MAGIC SCHOOL, taking place from March 29-31 at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena (KSPO DOME) in Seoul.
