An incident that occurred unexpectedly.
The reason for the crime was “feeling ridiculed…”
A horrifying incident took place on a street in Jeonju.
A teenage girl walking down the street was assaulted with a blunt weapon on her face and body. The perpetrator was a man in his 50s, who she had never met before.
The Jeonju Wansan Police Station reported on the 30th that they had apprehended a man in his 50s, Mr. A, who is under suspicion of attempted murder and is currently investigating him, according to Yonhap News.

A police official told News1, “We have applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A and are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.” They added, “We will do our best to protect the victim, as she may suffer psychological damage from this incident.”
