Cleaning Your Microwave Like New
With Ingredients Already At Home
The Ultimate Cleaning Method

What’s up, homemakers? I’ve brought an excellent tip today. It’s about cleaning your microwave. How do you all clean your microwaves?

To confess, I don’t clean my microwave very often. Consequently, it seems to smell, and the stubborn grime is unpleasant to look at. It seems unsanitary, too.

So, I’ve brought a method to clean your microwave using only the items at home perfectly. The method is not complicated, so anyone can easily do it. Let’s get started.

Materials needed: Water, wet wipes, baking soda, vinegar, and dish soap

That’s all you need for preparation! Simple, right? These are items you would have if you pay a little attention to your housekeeping. If you prepare these, you can clean the microwave that has been bothering you all this time.

The interior stains and the surface can be cleaned thoroughly, making it look like new. It even deodorizes and sanitizes. You really must try it. Just thinking about the microwave becoming clean makes my heart flutter.

1. Fill a bowl with vinegar and water and microwave it for 5-6 minutes.

The first step is to use steam to soak the stubborn grime inside. As you all know, vinegar has a sterilizing effect. This vinegar turns into steam as it heats up and penetrates every corner of the microwave.

Then, the stuck-on stains and grime get soaked and are ready to be easily removed. If you’re worried about microwaving it too long, you can split it into 2 or 3 minutes. As long as it gets hot enough to create steam, it’s OK.

2. Once the vinegar is done, start cleaning immediately while it’s still hot.

When removing the bowl with vinegar and starting to clean, be careful as it will be hot – rubber gloves are a must! First, remove all the turntables for cleaning.

You can clean the turntables using the method I’m about to show you, but since food is likely to get on them, it’s best to wipe them off as you would with dishwashing.

3. Soak a wet wipe in the vinegar water you just heated and wipe the inside and outside of the microwave.

It would be nice if the outside of the microwave gets clean while cleaning it. Please wipe the outside of the microwave with the vinegar water you just heated. Don’t forget to clean the button area to remove the stubborn grime meticulously.

Just like you wiped the outside with the vinegar water, please clean the inside thoroughly. The vinegar water removes the smell inside the microwave as a primary measure, so there will hardly be any smell, even if you only do this.

4. Make a baking soda detergent and wipe it with a wet wipe.

By the previous steps, the smell should have somewhat disappeared, and much of the stubborn grime should have been removed. The first step is over if you have meticulously wiped it with a wet wipe.

After discarding the vinegar water used in the first step, fill the bowl with hot water + baking soda + dish soap. Then, you have your baking soda detergent~ Soak the wet wipe in this detergent water and wipe the inside and outside again. Due to the steam, the grime will peel off easily without applying much force.

5. Wipe off the detergent with a clean wet wipe and a dry cloth, and you’re done

To remove the vinegar and detergent, gently rub it with a clean, wet wipe and a dry cloth. If you have cleaned meticulously, no foreign substances will stick to the clean, damp wipe and dry cloth.

If the stubborn grime and stains are too severe, scrub it with a magic eraser. But if you scrub too hard, it may scratch, so be careful.

The grubby and smelly microwave is transformed into a clean one with vinegar and baking soda! The materials are simple; the cleaning is done in 10 minutes, so everyone should try it.

So far, we have looked at the method to clean the microwave as if it’s new.

To summarize once again,
1. Dilute vinegar in water and microwave it for 5-6 minutes.
2. Wipe the inside and outside with a wet wipe
.
3. Make a baking soda detergent (water + baking soda + dish soap) and wipe it again.
4. Remove the detergent with a wet wipe and a dry cloth.

That’s it.

It’s straightforward, right? Everyone, clean your microwave quickly and easily and get a clean microwave!
