Recently, RM has also been sporting a nearly shaved hairstyle for public appearances, indicating that their military enlistment is imminent.

Jung Kook also posted a message on the fan community platform Weverse, announcing his military enlistment after finishing his solo activities. Jung Kook wrote, “I will be starting a new journey this December. I will be leaving you for a while to fulfill my military duties,” and said, “I am hesitant to ask you to wait for me indefinitely. 18 months is a long time, so I can’t be selfish, but I promise to return and stand on the stage, having grown more than before.”

Jung Kook continued, “Every moment I spent with you was the most shining time of my life. Your laughter, support, and love have brought me here and silently walked with me, supporting my dreams. I am so grateful.” He expressed his heartfelt feelings towards his fans before his military enlistment.

The agency also announced the news of RM, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook’s military enlistment through Weverse on the 22nd.

Big Hit Music stated, “We inform the fans who cherish and love BTS that RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook have begun the process of fulfilling their military duties. RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook are preparing to serve their military duties. We will provide further updates on their military enlistment as they are decided.”
