Georgia is often called the “Swiss Alps of Eastern Europe.” It’s a place where surreal landscapes unfold before you, yet compared to Switzerland, the cost of living is considerably cheaper. Georgia wasn’t a well-known travel destination among travelers. However, as travel YouTubers began visiting Georgia and more content introducing Georgia appeared in documentaries, it started to gain recognition among people.

Georgia has been famous for its Black Sea and the views of the highest Caucasus Mountains in Europe since ancient times. It was known as a high-end resort, and since the 1960s, three million people have vacationed in Georgia every year. Georgia is still considered a popular vacation spot among former Soviet Union countries.

Like Switzerland has the Alps, Georgia has the Caucasus Mountains, offering stunning views.

Although Georgia is a European country, the cost of living is very cheap. It has been a hot topic for having prices as affordable as Southeast Asian travel. In Georgia, they use a currency called Lari, denoted as Gel, and coins called Tetri.

Living costs in Georgia are relatively cheap. Bus fares are less than $0.5, and taxi fares are also quite affordable. If you visit a local restaurant, you can have a meal for $1.50 to $2.50; food ingredients are also cheap. If you want to enjoy a trip to Europe but are hesitant due to high prices, it might be good to consider a trip to Georgia.

Eco House Merisi is already famous among foreign travelers as a must-visit course in Georgia. It is still a hotel that is not well known. You can make a room reservation through the website. No matter which room you book, you can encounter a better view than you imagined.
