Actor Hugh Grant (63) has once again expressed his fandom for the Korean idol group Blackpink on a public platform.
On the 13th (local time), Hugh Grant, appearing on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” said, “I’m a Blink (Blackpink’s fandom name). My daughter dragged me to their concert.”
He confessed, “K-pop isn’t a hobby that a 63-year-old Brit like me would normally enjoy, so I was hesitant. But then I saw my daughter going crazy at the concert. It was as if she was possessed, like in the movie ‘The Exorcist.’ An hour later, I found myself in the same state.”
In fact, after attending a Blackpink concert in July, Hugh Grant thanked the three 11-year-olds who took him there, stating, “I’ve now officially become a Blink.” He also mentioned Blackpink’s light stick, the “Blink Stick,” saying, “My daughter was shaking it like mad next to me,” which caused a lot of laughter.
At that time, Blackpink was headlining the famous British music festival ‘Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival.’ Hugh Grant attended the festival with his 11-year-old daughter and her friends. Some fans have reported that he was seen wearing a Blackpink hoodie.
