joynews24 Views

[JoyNews24, Ji-won Jung Reporter] Singer IU has released an unprecedented trailer.

Her agency, EDAM Entertainment, at midnight from the 22nd to the 23rd, posted a teaser for the pre-released song “Love Wins All” on their official SNS channel.

The short clip released that day opens with a scene of an abandoned building with no warmth and only scattered piles of old clothes. It then shows a restaurant covered in dust and cobwebs, and two people gradually appear. V peeks into the unknown camcorder, and the scene transitions to showcase IU’s beautiful visuals. In the next scene, IU records V with her camera and then takes a step back, appearing shocked, as if something unexpected has happened. V’s face reveals a scar on his nose and a blurry/milky eye. Upon watching the Love Wins All trailer, fans are speculating what tragic story they hold.

In particular, the video ends with “Ruin me more”, increasing the hype and anticipation among fans.

IU’s pre-released song “Love Wins All” is a ballad with a clear climax, starting with a minimal and vintage piano intro and leading to a maximum outro. It continues IU’s series of major ballads, which have been loved among the songs she has released so far, including “Secret”, “To My Name”, “Love Poem”, and “Sea of I and Child”, which also became mega hits.

The music video was also a hot topic among fans at home and abroad before its release, as it was directed by Eom Tae-hwa, who directed the movie “Concrete Utopia” released last year, and starred V from BTS.

Meanwhile, IU’s “Love Wins All” music video will be released at midnight on the 24th, and the song will be released on major online music sites at 6 PM on the same day.
