The man shared, “While discussing marriage with my girlfriend, I mentioned that I want to buy a large SUV and go on family trips when we have a child.”
He further added, “My girlfriend loves children and believes in the importance of having them. She also said she wants to start a family with me.”
However, she said something unexpected and stated she did not want their child to be “short.”

Upon hearing his girlfriend’s thoughts, the man was shocked and could not counter her argument because he thought she had a point. He confessed that he had been unable to sleep at night.
Netizens who came across the story reacted with comments saying, “Genetic influence can’t be ignored, but a sperm bank? That’s a hurtful thing to say.” On the other hand, some comments seemed to empathize with the girlfriend’s point of view, such as “I understand where the girlfriend is coming from,” and “It’s natural not to want to pass on the bad traits.”
