A woman in her thirties from the United States, obsessed with conspiracy theories, committed a horrifying act by pushing her two young children out of a moving car, believing that the upcoming solar eclipse was a sign of the end of the world. She later committed suicide by crashing into a tree, and it has been reported that she also murdered her live-in boyfriend beforehand, causing shockwaves across the nation.

According to Fox 11 and other sources on the 10th (local time), the Los Angeles (LA) Police Department is investigating the murder-suicide case involving the death of Danielle Johnson (34).

Johnson, known online as Danielle Ayoka, was an astrologer with over 100,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter), making her a significant influencer.

On June 8th, a solar eclipse will occur in Mexico, the United States, Canada, and other regions. This rare phenomenon, which happens every seven years, is not to be missed. The next expected viewing in 20 years is stirring excitement across North America.

However, it appears Johnson believed the eclipse signaled the end of the world. On X, she shared a post saying, “Don’t watch the eclipse. Something important is coming,” and even pinned a post at the top of her page stating, “Wake up, the end is here.”

According to police reports, Johnson committed her first murder on the day of the solar eclipse, around 3:40 AM, by stabbing her live-in boyfriend, Jalen Allen Chaney (29), at their home in LA County. The victim was the father of one of her two daughters. She reportedly tried to drag Chaney’s body out of the apartment but eventually gave up and left it in the kitchen.

She then drove her Porsche onto the highway in the car with her two daughters, aged nine and eight months. The older daughter was holding, the younger one on her lap. Johnson slowed down and pushed her daughters out of the car, committing another horrifying act of murder.

The eight-month-old infant was hit by a following car and died on the spot, while the nine-year-old girl survived and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

After abandoning her children on the highway, Johnson continued driving until around 5 AM, when she crashed into a tree nearby the road and died. It was confirmed that she was driving at a speed exceeding 100 miles per hour during the collision. Police believe she committed suicide.

ABC News quoted law enforcement sources stating, “The motives for her murders and suicide are unclear, but police are reviewing her social media posts,” hinting at a possible link to her extensive involvement in astrology.

However, neighbors have provided testimony indicating that she had a heated argument with her live-in boyfriend at home, prompting the police to pursue further investigation.
