A new slogan, “Unite in Patriotism for the Economy,” has taken root across North Korea, including in Pyongyang.

On April 12, the Chosun Sinbo reported that patriotism and unity are the driving forces behind North Korea’s national revival strategy. The report emphasizes that every economic sector and unit should adopt this slogan in practice.

According to the newspaper, officials convey the Workers’ Party’s ideas and intentions to the masses. These officials are also responsible for implementing party policies through strategic deployment and leadership. Thus, each word and action from an official acts as a silent lesson and sets an example for the public.

The report also notes that officials in every sector and unit of the people’s economy actively promote the slogan “Unite in Patriotism!” They are dedicating their efforts to transforming the masses into enthusiastic patriots and are using the power of patriotism and unity to propel the development of their sectors and units.
