North Korea is stirring up a conversation by releasing the news of Kim Jong Un’s rifle test shooting, along with a target paper marked perfect score.
North Korean media outlets such as the Korean Central News Agency and Korean Central TV reported on the 13th that Kim conducted on-site guidance at key defense industry companies on the 11th and 12th, visiting factories that produce major sniper weapons.
The media exposed a photo of a perfect score target paper with five holes in the center, along with the one with Kim shooting a sniper rifle at this factory.
Although there is no shooting video, it is interpreted that Kim fired five shots and hit all of them.
Kim also test-fired a rifle during a visit to a sniper weapon production factory last August, dressed in a way that reminded people of Kim Il Sung.
This seems to be a part of idolization, suggesting Kim is even adroit in shooting.
During his visit to the arms factory, Kim repeatedly emphasized the need to improve the quality of the weapons. Analysis suggests these remarks may be a focus point for future weapons exports to Russia.
