Soju, beer, and wine are enjoyable beverages and surprisingly versatile in household applications. Here are some innovative ways to repurpose leftover alcohol:

Soju

1. Ink Stain Removal: Soju effectively removes ink stains from clothing. Soak the stained area with soju for about 10 minutes, then gently rub it to lift the stain. To avoid any lingering alcohol smell, rinse the fabric with fabric softener after washing.

2. Grease Cleaning: Spray soju on greasy pans or kitchen surfaces after cooking. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then wipe away with a paper towel for effortless grease removal. Adding soju to meat or fish dishes can also help eliminate unpleasant odors.

3. Fabric Softener: If you run out of fabric softener, use soju as an alternative. It softens fabrics and has disinfecting properties. Soju can also deodorize your refrigerator—just open a bottle and leave it inside to neutralize odors and prevent bacterial growth.

4. Disinfecting: Soju’s deoiling and antibacterial properties make it useful for disinfecting dishcloths or mops.

Beer

1. Houseplant Care: Clean and shine plant leaves by wiping them with a paper towel soaked in a water-beer mixture. The beer not only removes dust but also provides nutrients to the plants.

2. Crispier Batter: To enhance the crispiness of fried foods, mix water and beer in equal parts to create a batter.

3. Jewelry Polishing: Use beer as a polishing agent for jewelry. Its acidic properties help restore shine.

4. Leather Care: Wipe them with a cloth dampened with flat beer to give leather products a glossy finish.

Wine

1. Red Wine Stain Removal: White wine removes red wine stains. Soak the stained area in white wine to eliminate the discoloration.

2. Bath Additive: Add white wine to your bath to improve blood circulation and combat skin aging.

3. Meat Odor Elimination: Red wine removes odors from meat. Marinate the beef in red wine to reduce unpleasant smells and tenderize it.

4. Seafood Enhancement: Use leftover white wine in seafood dishes to reduce fishy odors and enhance flavor.
