North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui and her delegation attended the 4th Eurasian Women’s Forum and the 1st BRICS Women’s Forum in Russia, returning on Monday.
On Tuesday, North Korea’s state-run newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, reported that “at the Pyongyang International Airport, Vice Foreign Minister Kim Jong Gyu and Alexander Matsegora, the Russian ambassador to North Korea, came to meet.”
Choe stated during her speech at the 4th Eurasian Women’s Forum that the “geopolitical security of the Korean Peninsula is under serious threat due to the aggressive and unilateral actions of the U.S. and its allies, which she accused of pursuing hegemony and self-interest.”
From the 18th, the three-day international forum included high-ranking female politicians, business leaders, and representatives from academia and society from over 120 countries, including North Korea, Russia, Vietnam, Laos, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Uganda, Qatar, and others.
