After a three-year wait, Netflix’s global sensation Squid Game is finally returning on Thursday with Squid Game Season 2.

The first season of Squid Game debuted on Netflix in September 2021 and took the world by storm. Season 2 promises to raise the stakes even higher, featuring Seong Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae) as he returns to the deadly games, now driven by a desire for vengeance. Viewers can expect an intense showdown between Seong Gi Hun and the mysterious Front Man (Lee Byung Hun) as the dark and dangerous games resume. The star-studded cast, including Im Si Wan, Kang Ha Neul, Wi Ha Joon, Park Sung Hoon, Yang Dong Geun, and Lee Jin Wook, has only added to the excitement surrounding the series’ return.

Squid Game Season 2 will be released globally on Netflix on Thursday, ensuring that fans worldwide can watch the highly anticipated new season simultaneously. It will stream at 3 a.m. ET/midnight PT.
