GSK Korea’s New Boss: What Gunnar Riediger Brings to the Table!

Gunnar Riediger, new general manager of GSK Korea (GSK Korea)] GSK Korea said Wednesday that Gunnar Riediger will begin his term as its new general manager starting Friday, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.

Riediger joined GSK in 2004 through the company’s global talent initiative, the Future Leaders Program. Since then, he has spearheaded healthcare operations across Latin America, holding key positions at GSK Brazil, including leadership roles in the vaccines and biotech business units, as well as serving as Global Vaccines Market Lead.

The company highlighted Riediger’s consistent track record of delivering exceptional results by maximizing GSK’s pipeline potential, driving innovation in market strategies, and investing in leadership development programs that emphasize ambition and accountability.

Most recently, Riediger served as country president and general manager of GSK Colombia, where he successfully introduced innovative products across GSK’s vaccines, specialty, and oncology portfolios since 2023. Under his stewardship, GSK Colombia was recognized as the fastest-growing multinational pharmaceutical company in the country in 2024.
