Kim Jong Un Thanks Xi Jinping for 76 Years of North Korea-China Friendship

North Korea’s state-run newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, reported that the leader, Kim Jong Un, sent a response to a congratulatory message from Chinese President Xi Jinping on the Day of the Foundation of the Republic, celebrated on September 9.

In his reply, sent on the 15th, Kim expressed gratitude for Xi’s congratulations on the 76th anniversary of establishing the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).

He emphasized that strengthening the long-standing friendship between North Korea and China aligns with the shared aspirations of the peoples of both nations.

Furthermore, Kim stated, “I believe that the DPRK and China will continue to achieve remarkable results in our joint efforts to safeguard world peace and regional security.”
