A science and technology library has been constructed in Hwanghae South Province, North Korea, and a completion ceremony has been held.

Rodong Sinmun reported on Thursday, “The completion ceremony held the previous day was attended by Pak Tae Seop, Secretary of the Hwanghae South Provincial Party Committee, officials from related departments, library employees, construction workers, and youth students from Haeju City.” The report added that Kim Cheol Beom, Chairman of the Hwanghae South Provincial People’s Committee, delivered the speech marking the project’s completion.

The article also mentioned that the construction of the library, which provides information services, facilitates research discussions, enables dissemination, and hosts various exhibitions, has established a regional hub for disseminating the latest science and technology.
