Donald Trump’s return to the White House has reignited interest in NVIDIA, one of the tech market’s most dominant stocks. Analysts have begun assessing how a Trump administration might influence the rapidly evolving AI sector, focusing on NVIDIA’s market position, which strengthened before joining the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI).

Potential Benefits for NVIDIA Under Trump’s Pro-Growth Policies

A Trump presidency is anticipated to bring a regulatory environment favorable to growth-oriented sectors like AI. Analysts suggest that Trump’s pro-business stance, which includes support for lower taxes, could benefit NVIDIA’s business outlook. Eric Jackson, founder of EMJ Capital, remarked that AI, NVIDIA, and Trump have become “inseparable” as AI technologies increasingly impact all aspects of tech innovation.

Jackson also noted that Trump’s straightforward regulatory approach, especially regarding the digital asset energy sector, may accelerate the development of AI infrastructure by hyperscale companies. Given the strength of NVIDIA’s core business, investors remain optimistic about its trajectory, although its exact path under Trump’s term remains to be seen.

NVIDIA and Trump’s Trade Policies: China and Talent Concerns

Jackson emphasized the need to monitor potential trade conflicts with China due to tariffs. NVIDIA’s interests in China extend beyond chip sales, encompassing crucial talent for product development. Trade tensions impacting Taiwan—a key hub for chip manufacturing—are also significant considerations.

Vivek Arya, an analyst at Bank of America, forecasts strong performance for NVIDIA’s upcoming chips, such as the Blackwell Ultra, Rubin, and Rubin Ultra, which are anticipated to launch in the third quarter of 2025.

NVIDIA’s 2025 earnings are projected to grow to $4.08 per share, reflecting a 43% increase. However, the potential impact of a Trump presidency on NVIDIA’s future revenue streams in 2025 remains uncertain.

Dan Ives, a tech analyst at Wedbush, stated, “Trump is a clear bullish foundation for Big Tech. We believe Musk will help navigate the China issues so they don’t negatively impact the yin and yang for US tech and the AI Revolution.”

Ives added that Lina Khan’s potential departure from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) could allow NVIDIA to pursue more aggressive tech acquisitions.
