This diagonal motif extends into the headlights, creating a cohesive design, while the daytime running lights now adopt a vertical layout for a more aggressive stance.
The newly introduced M Sport package and M Sport package Pro trim emphasize the iX’s dynamic nature with bold front and rear bumper designs, enlarged front air intakes, and vertical rear reflectors. The interior includes a three-spoke M leather steering wheel, an M-branded instrument cluster, an anthracite headliner, M pedals, and dark silver interior accents.
The high-performance BMW iX M70 xDrive adds exclusive elements such as an M-branded kidney grille with horizontal bars, black side mirror caps with red accents, a dedicated M instrument cluster, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, and M sport seats.

Increased Power with the Latest Electric Technology
The new BMW iX lineup benefits from the latest electric system advancements, boosting power output across all models. The BMW iX xDrive45 now delivers 408 horsepower, an increase of 82 hp, with 71.4kg·m(700Nm) of torque, enabling a 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 60 mph) acceleration time of 5.1 seconds.
The BMW iX xDrive60’s maximum output has increased to 544 horsepower, up 21 hp, with 78.0kg·m(765Nm) of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.
The BMW iX M70 xDrive gains an additional 40 horsepower, reaching up to 659 hp in sport mode. When launch control is activated, the vehicle’s peak torque is 103.5kg·m(1,100 Nm), allowing it to sprint from 0 to 100 km (60 mph) in just 3.8 seconds.
Improved Efficiency and Faster Charging
The new iX incorporates advanced battery cell technology, increasing its energy capacity. The iX xDrive45 now features a 94.8 kWh net battery capacity, approximately 30% more than its predecessor. The iX xDrive60 and iX M70 xDrive models have net capacities of 109.1 kWh and 108.9 kWh, respectively.
Introducing new inverter technology and component optimizations has extended the vehicle’s driving range. Under WLTP standards, the iX xDrive45 can travel up to 602 km (374 miles), the iX xDrive60 up to 701 km (436 miles), and the iX M70 xDrive up to 600 km (373 miles) on a single charge.
BMW plans to launch the new iX during the third quarter of this year.
