Kia has revealed the specifications and pricing for its first electric sedan, the EV4, and will begin accepting orders on Tuesday.

The EV4 will be available in two models: a long-range version with an 81.4 kWh battery and a standard version with a 58.3 kWh battery.

The EV4 will be available in two models: a long-range version with an 81.4 kWh battery and a standard version with a 58.3 kWh battery. According to the South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, the long-range model, equipped with two-wheel drive and 17-inch wheels, has a certified range of 533 km (331 miles) on a single charge, while the standard model offers 382 km (237 miles).

These models have a combined efficiency of approximately 5.8 km (3.6 miles) per kWh, making them the most efficient among Kia’s electric vehicle lineup.

Kia has priced the EV4 competitively. Before applying EV incentives and based on a 3.5% individual consumption tax, the standard model is priced at 41.92 million KRW (approximately $28,925) for the Air trim, 46.69 million KRW (approximately $32,216) for the Earth trim, and 47.83 million KRW (approximately $33,003) for the GT-Line trim.

The long-range model is priced at 46.29 million KRW (approximately $31,940) for the Air trim, 51.04 million KRW (approximately $35,218) for the Earth trim, and 52.19 million KRW (approximately $36,011) for the GT-Line trim.

After considering government subsidies and local rebates in Seoul, the actual purchase price is expected to be around 34 million KRW (approximately $23,460) for the standard model and 38 million KRW (approximately $26,220) for the long-range version.

Alongside the EV4 launch, Kia is introducing the Multiple Care Program to reduce ownership costs and maintain vehicle value.

This program is available to customers who take delivery in the first half of the year and opt for Kia’s K-Value deferred payment plan. Benefits include a 3.9% APR for 36 months, a 60% guaranteed residual value after three years, a complimentary three-year battery life care solution from LG Energy Solution valued at 12,100 KRW (approximately $8) per month, and a 2 million KRW (approximately $1,380) reward for achieving battery management targets.

To commemorate the launch, Kia is partnering with fashion platform Musinsa to host special promotional events.
