Teen Influencer Falls to Death While Taking a Selfie at a Waterfall

inews24 Views

A famous influencer from Myanmar tragically fell to her death while taking a selfie at the top of a waterfall.

According to foreign outlets, Moe Sa Nay, 14, visited a waterfall in southeastern Myanmar on the 22nd. With 150,000 followers on her social media, Nay took a picture to share a beautiful waterfall with her followers. However, she slipped on a rock and fell over the edge. Consequently, she was trapped between large rocks while being swept away by the strong currents. She struggled to escape and ultimately drowned at the scene.

After the initial report, the rescue team arrived at the scene. However, they struggled to retrieve Nay’s body as it was trapped between the rocks. They tied her hand with a rope to pull out the body. One rescuer explained, “Nay’s feet were on the ground, but it appears she died after becoming wedged between the rocks.” Fortunately, a friend who fell with Nay only suffered minor injuries.
