Musk’s ‘Bulletproof’ Cybertruck Fails in New Theft Incident—Watch the Shocking Video

Daniel Kim Views

Elon Musk’s Tesla electric truck, the Cybertruck, praised for its bulletproof performance, is again under scrutiny.

Futurism reported that Cybertruck owner Anuj Thakkar shared a video on Facebook showing a thief breaking into his Cybertruck in Atlanta, Georgia.

In the 1-minute and 33-second video, a man is seen approaching the Cybertruck in a car, tearing off its window with his bare hands, and stealing a bag from inside.

Thakkar expressed frustration that the window was easily ripped off and that the theft alarm did not go off. He said, “There was no alarm, no notifications on my phone. Nothing happened until I discovered this (the damage to the vehicle).” He added, “Does anyone know why the theft alarm didn’t go off?”

Since its initial launch, Tesla has introduced the Cybertruck as a “bulletproof car.”

However, during the first demonstration in 2019, when Musk threw a metal ball at the window, it shattered instantly, causing Tesla’s stock to drop by about 6%.

After several delays, the Cybertruck was officially launched in November last year, but numerous defects have been found since. In less than half a year since its release, the Cybertruck has been recalled more than four times for issues with the wiper motor, accelerator pedal, trunk, trim, and more.
