Jimin’s Five-Star Military Performance Earns Reward Getaway

BTS’s Jimin has been awarded for his exemplary military service.

He received an award as an elite trainee for scoring top marks.

On the 18th, Jimin’s father posted a photo of the graduation ceremony after his son completed his five-week boot camp training, revealing that the family is now on vacation together.

He received the highest commendation from the Division Commander as the Top Trainee of his unit and took the oath on behalf of the trainees.

On the 16th, fellow group members RM and V also received commendations for being excellent trainees.

After completing his basic military training, Jimin updated his fans, the ARMY, on his recent activities through a handwritten letter.

He said, “A little over a month has passed, and although there are times when it feels long, having Jungkook by my side makes time go by quickly. It hasn’t been long, but I miss you all already.”

He continued, “I’ve been keeping in touch with the members through public phones, and Jungkook is also doing well in his military life. He’s doing so well in his training that everyone says, ‘That’s our Jungkook.'”

Jimin said, “Training together, we’ve been able to support and help each other. We’ll be stationed in our unit soon, and I’ll do my best to adjust well there, too.”

To his fans, he said, “To our ARMY, please take care of yourselves, don’t get sick, eat well, and have positive thoughts. I’ll write again once I get to my unit. Love you all.”

Jimin and Jungkook attended the graduation ceremony of the 5th Infantry Division’s new soldier training team on the 17th. The two are assigned to the 5th Infantry Division and will start their 17-month military service.
