TOMORROW X TOGETHER will make a comeback with the new title track, “Deja Vu,” which includes Bang Si Hyuk’s participation.
At midnight on the 26th (Korean time), through the team’s social media, TOMORROW X TOGETHER revealed the tracklist and track cards for their 6th mini-album minisode 3: TOMORROW. The track cards, styled like instant photos, contain information about the songs included in this album.
The title track, “Deja Vu,” is a pop style that combines the sub-genre of trap and rage with emo rock, exuding the distinctive poignant and overwhelming emotions of TOMORROW X TOGETHER. The song carries the message that you and I will inevitably meet again, like the promises we made in the past, and the moment of reunion will feel like deja vu. Additionally, Bang Si Hyuk, the general producer and exclusive producers from Big Hit Music, Slow Rabbit, and Supreme Boi, have joined forces to herald another masterpiece.
A track denoted in Morse code also captures attention. Morse code has been used not only in the logo motion video that announced the release of this album but also in the Introduction Film and Questioning Film that initially introduced the members at their debut, as well as in the intro of their debut song “CROWN,” evoking nostalgia for those times.
Besides, this album includes a total of 7 songs, such as “I’ll See You There Tomorrow,” which sings of the belief in reunion; “Miracle,” conveying the preciousness of miraculous relationships; “The Killa (I Belong to You),” expressing the longing for affection that cannot be put into words, “Quarter Life,” containing messages of anxiety and self-affirmation at the quarter-point of life, and the lyrically maximized remix “Deja Vu (Anemoia Remix).” Among these, “The Killa (I Belong to You)” and “Quarter Life” are known as unit songs, increasing fans’ interest in the member combinations.
minisode 3: TOMORROW is an album that tells the story of remembering past promises and going to find the “you” who made those promises together. There’s growing curiosity about how TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s unique narrative of salvation, ‘Tomorrow with you is hope and salvation,’ will be integrated into the songs.
Meanwhile, TOMORROW X TOGETHER will hold a comeback showcase at the Hwajeong Gymnasium at Korea University in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, at 8 p.m. on April 1, the day the album is released. Online streaming will also be available.
