The Kelly Clarkson Show is a talk show hosted by the globally renowned singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson. It is one of the most popular talk shows, having won the Emmy Awards, America’s highest television honor, three times. The next day, in May 2022, X Together made their second appearance on this show, about two years after their first performance of “Good Boy Gone Bad,” the title track of their fourth mini album, Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child.

Kelly Clarkson introduced Tomorrow X Together as “one of the most famous K-pop groups on the planet” and added, “They have gained a high global stature by winning at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards and performing as headliners at Lollapalooza.”

The “Deja Vu” performance begins with the members holding a coin marked with their debut year 2019. The sand slipping through my fingers and props reminding me of 2019 expressed nostalgia. The five members’ powerful choreography and facial expressions vividly conveyed the song’s poignant and overwhelming energy. At the same time, the dazzling steps and dance breaks based on hip-hop kept the viewers hooked.

Having greeted North American viewers with their comeback on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Tomorrow X Together is ramping up their activities on domestic music shows. They will appear consecutively on Mnet’s M Countdown on the 4th (Korean time), KBS2’s Music Bank on the 5th, and MBC’s Show! Music Core on the 6th, and SBS’s Inkigayo on the 7th.

In addition, Tomorrow X Together is set to appear on tvN’s Amazing Saturday on the 6th and will be active in various web variety shows like Gym Jong Kook, It’s Live, Performance37, Idol Human Theater, Idol 1N2D, and more.

Meanwhile, minisode 3: TOMORROW is an album that tells the story of remembering promises from the past and going together to find the ‘you’ that was promised. Tomorrow X Together has filled this album with its narrative of salvation, stating, “Tomorrow with you is hope and salvation.” The title track, “Deja Vu,” is a pop genre song that combines the sub-genre of Trap, Rage, and Emo rock, singing about a future where you and I meet again like a past promise, feeling like deja vu.
