The title song “Magnetic” from ILLIT’s (Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) mini-first album, SUPER REAL ME, achieved remarkable success on the music charts. According to the latest chart preview shared on the official SNS of the American music magazine Billboard on the 8th (local time), “Magnetic” secured the 8th on the Global 200 chart and the 2nd on the Global (excluding U.S.) chart. Compared to the previous week, the song climbed 55 places on the Global 200 chart and 31 places on the Global (excluding U.S.) chart, marking a record high for a debut song by a K-pop group, regardless of gender.
Billboard announced, “ILLIT’s ‘Magnetic’ has recorded over 56.3 million streams and more than 3,000 digital sales (downloads) in a week (based on the Global 200″.
The Global 200 chart, established by Billboard, serves as a significant indicator of global music trends, encompassing streaming and sales data from over 200 countries/regions worldwide, including the U.S. Unlike the Hot 100 chart, which factors in broadcast scores and album sales, the Global 200 focuses solely on streaming and sales data.
