joynews24 Views

ATEEZ is set to headline the Mawazine festival in 2024.

ATEEZ will take the main stage, OLM SOUISSI, as the headliner at the Mawazine festival, held in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, on June 23rd.

Mawazine, which started in 2001 and is celebrating its 19th event this year, is one of the international music festivals attracting over 2.5 million attendees annually. So far, prominent stars like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Shakira, and The Weeknd have sparked the stage as headliners.

In particular, ATEEZ is the first K-pop artist to be invited to Mawazine, standing shoulder to shoulder with world-renowned artists and taking the main stage on their first appearance to show their growing global popularity. Previously, ATEEZ made headlines by delivering flawless performances and steady live shows as the first K-pop boy group to perform at America’s largest music festival, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. They also confirmed their growing popularity by announcing their participation in Summer Sonic 2024, one of the world’s top three rock festivals and Asia’s most significant urban music festival.

Furthermore, ATEEZ proved its global state by hosting the first solo K-pop pop-up exhibition, KQ ENT. (ATEEZ & xikers): A GRAMMY Museum Pop-Up at the American Grammy Museum. After announcing the North American concerts of their 2024 world tour TOWARDS THE LIGHT: WILL TO POWER, they received an explosive response, adding one more show each in Duluth, Rosemont, and Los Angeles, causing a sensation.

ATEEZ, actively working globally, is expected to create another legendary stage with their irreplaceable performances and adept stage manners, demonstrating the power of the 4th Generation Performance Champions.

Meanwhile, ATEEZ will release their 10th mini-album, GOLDEN HOUR: Part 1, on May 31st.
