On May 7th, Zico’s digital single “SPOT! (feat. JENNIE)” entered 8th place in the Billboard Global chart (Excl U.S.). Zico made a strong impression by making it into the ‘Top 10’ in the first week of release.

“SPOT!” has also ranked 24th in the Billboard Global 200. The Global 200 chart ranks streaming and sales from over 200 countries/regions worldwide, including the U.S., and is considered one of the indicators of the latest trends in the pop music market. As soon as it was released, this song also ranked first in the World Digital Song Sales chart.

Zico has reached a career-high on the Billboard chart and is proving his elevated status in the global music market. Even before launching his full-fledged overseas activities, he received warm responses and attracted attention in the mainstream pop market.

The momentum of “SPOT!” is also evident on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform. The song ranked 70th and hit its record on the Daily Top Songs Global chart on May 5th, boosting its popularity. The song’s popularity in the domestic music chart is nothing short of a sensation. “SPOT!” topped the weekly charts of Melon, Genie, and Bugs from April 29th to May 5th. The song has maintained the number 1 spot for 10 and 9 days each on the daily charts of major domestic music sites like Melon and Genie.

“SPOT!” is a song for which Zico took on the roles of lyricist, composer, and producer. It sings about an innocent moment between two friends who coincidently meet at a late-night party.
