Treasure’s Explosive Comeback: ‘KING KONG’ Climbs Global Music Charts!

Treasure announced a successful comeback with their powerful new song “KING KONG.”

According to YG Entertainment, Treasure’s new song “KING KONG” was released at 6 PM on May 28 and topped the iTunes song chart in 18 regions, securing a spot in the upper ranks of the worldwide song chart.

While their popularity was evenly distributed throughout the world, including Asia, where they are currently on tour, their strong performance in Japan stood out. They shot straight to the top of the Rakuten Music and AWA real-time charts and ranked #4 on Line Music Top 100, the largest local music site.

The music video also topped the Most Viewed Videos in 24 Hours on YouTube. The breathtaking chase in the city, the foggy unknown island, and other elements presented on a grand scale representing “KING KONG” drew rave reviews. According to the reviews, the members maximized their charm with the sensual visuals perfectly melting into the concept.

The explosive performance that matches the bold song development is receiving positive reviews. From the creative choreography depicting “KING KONG” to the highly difficult dance break with a large crew, they provided a positively overwhelming performance, raising expectations for their upcoming broadcast performances.

Treasure is on their second Asian tour 2024 TREASURE RELAY TOUR [REBOOT], spanning five cities and nine shows, and will start a fan meeting tour in Japan in July. Additionally, they are pushing forward with producing a new album aimed for a fall release, continuing a full schedule in the second half of the year.
