BTS’ Jin Set to Engage with Fans at 2024 FESTA

BTS’ Jin is set to complete his military service successfully and will be discharged on June 12.

On June 3, Big Hit Music announced that Jin would resume his official activities starting with the 2024 FESTA on June 13, the day after his discharge, celebrating BTS’s debut anniversary.

Jin suggested planning the 2024 FETSA to interact with his fans.

The event will feature a program divided into two parts: “Jin’s Greetings” and “Seokjin on June 13, 2024, Clear Weather.” It will include a hugging session with 1,000 fans and a showcase of various aspects of Jin.

Additionally, the event will welcome fans with different events, including upcycling part-making and a BTS lyric extraction game.

Currently, plans are underway for online streaming targeting membership members.

Controversy arose when it was announced that only album purchasers could apply, leading some to argue that fans were forced to buy an album.

In response, the agency issued a notice of amendment and an apology, promising to expand the application criteria.

Being the first BTS member to enlist, Jin has been an assistant instructor at the Army’s 5th Division Recruit Training Center. Through this discharge, he will alleviate the regret of not being able to attend last year’s 2023 FESTA and will meet fans again.

The 2024 FESTA will be held from 11 AM to 9 PM on June 13 at the Seoul Sports Complex.
