GRAMMY.com recently named RIIZE’s track “Impossible” as one of the 10 K-Pop Songs That Electrified 2024. The site praised the group, stating, “True to their name, the group soar with a vivid discography that brings the best out of old and new sounds. ‘Impossible’ only came out in April as part of their first mini album, but it burst through the K-pop soundscape like a timeless classic.”

The article continued, ” Propelled by a house beat straight from the early 2000s, the track revs up and never lets go. Hopeful, wistful, and soaked in the “impossible” eagerness of youth, its fizzy enthusiasm will quench your thirst.”

Stereogum also selected “Impossible” as one of the Top 40 Pop Songs of 2024, noting its high-energy garage house sound that feels fresh with every listen. RIIZE, the only male K-pop act on the list, continues to prove its top-tier status with this recognition.

In the UK, DAZED magazine included RIIZE’s title track, “Boom Boom Bass,” in its 50 Best K-Pop Tracks of 2024 roundup. The publication commented, “This track showcases RIIZE’s lofty ambitions. The layered soundscape and strategic ad-libs elevate every moment. While it’s a great song for any artist, RIIZE has made it uniquely their own, creating something that’s not easily replicable.”

RIIZE has already been featured in Billboard’s 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2024: Staff Picks and NME’s 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2024. With growing recognition in year-end lists, its global presence continues to shine. As 2024 comes to a close, anticipation is building for what RIIZE will achieve in 2025.

To cap off the year, RIIZE will appear on several major year-end broadcasts, including SBS’s Gayo Daejeon on December 25, Japan’s TV Asahi Music Station Super Live on December 27, MBC’s Gayo Daejejeon on December 31, and Japan’s TBS CDTV LIVE! LIVE! These appearances will showcase the group’s growing international presence.
