ZEROBASEONE Earns Global Praise with ‘GOOD SO BAD’ on Year-End Roundups

ZEROBASEONE continues to prove its dominance as a leading force in K-pop, earning recognition from global media outlets in year-end roundups.

According to GRAMMY.com, the group’s title track “GOOD SO BAD” from its mini-album CINEMA PARADISE was named one of the 10 K-Pop Songs That Electrified 2024. The publication praised the song, highlighting how it “a sound that fits the nine-member ensemble like a glove, bringing forward their boyish charms and outstanding synergy.”

GRAMMY.com also noted the group’s growing popularity in the U.S., pointing out that ZEROBASEONE captured the most attention at KCON LA 2024, further cementing its strong presence in the American market.

In addition to the praise from GRAMMY.com, “GOOD SO BAD” made it onto DAZED UK’s 50 Best K-Pop Tracks of 2024 list. The magazine described the track as being born from the fingertips of legendary composer Kenzie and highlighted it as one of the year’s most impactful releases. They further characterized the song as radiating an infectious joy unique to ZEROBASEONE, likening it to “a charming movie soundtrack that leaves a lasting impression.”

Riding the wave of recognition, ZEROBASEONE is cementing its place as a fifth-generation icon. The group continues to make waves by performing on all three major year-end broadcasts in South Korea. After kicking off its year-end performances with the 2024 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan on December 19, the group will perform at SBS’s Gayo Daejeon on December 25 and MBC’s Gayo Daejejeon on December 31. This keeps its fanbase, ZEROES, engaged and excited as the year ends.
