BLACKPINK’s Jennie has officially confirmed her long-awaited solo return for 2025.

On Thursday, her agency, OA Entertainment, announced that Jennie will release a new solo album next year, marking her highly anticipated comeback to the music scene.

The day before the announcement, Jennie posted a heartfelt video on the official website titled “Happy Holidays” to share the exciting news with fans. In the video, she expressed her excitement about the new project, saying, “After 11 months of work, I’m satisfied with the results.”

Describing the album as a departure from her previous sound, Jennie teased that it would feature a variety of genres, calling it a buffet for everyone. She also surprised fans by revealing that several tracks will include guest artists.

“This new album represents a chapter of my life translated into music,” Jennie explained. “I hope fans feel closer to me through these songs. I also want the public to be pleasantly surprised when they hear it.”

To wrap up the video, Jennie sent her Christmas greetings to fans and promised to reconnect with them soon.
