On Sunday, SEVENTEEN’s agency announced that the photo upload schedule for BSS’s second single album, Telepathy, which was set for release at 6 p.m., has been postponed. The agency expressed its condolences, stating, “This tragic news deeply saddens us, and we kindly ask for the understanding of our fans.”

Telepathy is BSS’s new album, now scheduled for release on January 8. The title combines telepathy and party, symbolizing a global party connected through telepathy.

IVE’s agency, Starship Entertainment, also announced postponing the promotion schedule for IVE’s third EP, IVE Empathy, which was supposed to be released over the weekend. Starship Entertainment stated, “We will announce the updated schedule later,” and extended their condolences, saying, “We deeply mourn the victims and their families affected by this tragedy.”

IVE’s new album will be released on February 3, 2025, with a pre-release track planned for January 13.

In addition, KBS2’s audition program, The Ddanddara, was canceled the same day, postponing the release of the semi-final album Nine, which was initially scheduled for 6 p.m. Representatives stated, “We had to delay the release. We apologize and ask for your understanding from all those who have been waiting.”

On Friday, Pangstar, the agency of creator and singer EVE SEO, also announced the postponement of EVE SEO’s new single, which was planned for release on January 1. Pangstar said, “The release of EVE SEO’s new song, ‘They Never Know,’ has been delayed,” and added, “We extend our deepest condolences to the victims and their families affected by the passenger plane accident, as many are experiencing deep sorrow and hardship during this difficult time.” The new release date for EVE SEO’s album will be announced later.
