A naked woman wearing only a box is causing controversy as she walks around in the heart of Gangnam, Seoul.
She reportedly encouraged passersby to reach inside the box and touch her body parts.
The woman has been identified as Ain (A_in), who has been working as a Korean AV actress and model for the past two years. She explained her actions by stating, “I used to work in a karaoke bar to make ends meet. My agency’s director suggested doing a fun performance to break the prudish sexual culture in Korea, and I thought it would be fun, so I agreed without hesitation.”
She stated, “I thought it was strange that men can take off their tops without any problem, but women are punished if they do the same. I liked the idea that this was a form of performance art to break that norm,” explaining why she coolly said ‘okay’ to her agency’s proposal. She also declared, “I love attention and love. If I reach 100,000 followers on social media, I will make another hole in the box.”Meanwhile, netizens are casting negative views on the appearance of the ‘naked box woman,’ saying, “This is not normal,” “Does she know she’s subject to punishment,” and “This is not the behavior of an awakened person.”
