Man Kills His Acquaintance for Not Paying His Debts

A man who allegedly killed an acquaintance with a weapon over accusations of slander has been apprehended by the police.

According to the police on the 19th, the Ansan Sangnok Police Station in Gyeonggi Province is currently investigating a man in his 50s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of murder.

Mr. A is accused of causing the death of another man in his 50s, identified as Mr. B, by wielding a weapon near a bus stop on Bugok Road in Sangnok-gu, Ansan City, around 8:01 PM the previous day.

He is being investigated for purchasing a weapon from a nearby supermarket and committing the crime after arguing over accusations by Mr. B and others that he was “not paying his debts.”

Mr. B was later transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest, receiving emergency treatment, but ultimately passed away.

Another individual who tried to stop Mr. A was also injured, but their life was not in danger.

The police plan to apply for an arrest warrant for Mr. A.
