Famous YouTuber Yuna posts a revelation video on her channel
She recounts, “The gynecologist asked if I was ‘okay’ and suddenly groped my body.”

A broadcaster operating a YouTube channel with 2.68 million subscribers has claimed a gynecologist sexually assaulted her.

On the YouTube channel ‘Banbanzai,’ a video was posted on the 22nd showing YouTuber Morimoto Yuna confessing that she had been sexually assaulted during a gynecological examination.

On that day, Yuna claimed, “I went to the gynecologist for a cervical cancer screening. There was no separate curtain on the examination table,” and “After the examination, the male doctor suddenly groped my body, asking ‘Are you okay?'”.

She continued, “I went in to hear the examination results, but the doctor said, ‘You’re pretty. Where do you live now?’ and ‘You’re cute, so I’ll teach you this and that,’ making sexually harassing remarks.”

In conclusion, she added, “I thought, is this sexual harassment? It was disgusting. I had severe menstrual pain this time and had no choice but to get an examination at the same gynecologist, but I did not see that doctor.”

Netizens who saw this commented, “Which hospital is this?” “I can’t believe there are still people like this in this day and age,” “I hope you shake this off and recover soon,” “The doctor’s license should be revoked,” “It’s disgusting,” and more.

There have also been cases in Korea where the gynecologist sexually assaulted female patients.

In March 2020, a doctor who was receiving obstetrics and gynecology intern training was found to have committed illegal and unethical acts by sexually harassing and assaulting a female patient who was anesthetized in the operating room.

The revelation that the hospital only gave the doctor a minor punishment of a three-month suspension and allowed him to continue his training sparked public outrage.

In response, the Korean Patients’ Association issued an official statement, pointing out that “there is no guarantee that the intern will not sexually harass or assault female patients again.”

They strongly argued, “In such cases, the doctor’s license should be revoked, and re-issuance should be strictly limited to prevent second and third incidents.”
