Broadcasters Park Ji Yoon and Choi Dong Seok, formerly with KBS, announced their separation after 14 years of marriage. The news has been shared.

JDB Entertainment, Park Ji Yoon’s agency, stated, “Park Ji Yoon is going through the divorce process. She recently submitted a divorce mediation application to the court.”

Through her agency, Park Ji Yoon expressed, “I am sorry to deliver this unfortunate news to those who have cared for and watched over Choi Dong Seok and our family for a long time.”

She added, “I do not want our children to be hurt twice by unfounded rumors and words due to the sudden situation of their parents. We will strongly respond to any rumors and false facts that harm me and my two children in the future.”

She also said, “I have communicated with you through various channels for a long time, but there has never been a time when it was so difficult to speak, and I don’t think there will be in the future. Again, I apologize for not being able to deliver good news in these difficult times.”

Park Ji Yoon and Choi Dong Seok, colleagues in the 30th class of KBS announcers, married in November 2009 after dating within the company.

Recently, Park Ji Yoon revealed that she and her family live in Jeju Island due to her husband Choi Dong Seok’s health issues.

In July, Choi Dong Seok drew attention by leaving a cryptic post on his social media, saying, “Is there anything more miserable than fighting alone on a battlefield without allies?” and “One of the things I regret in my life is trying to have a conversation when my heart is not calm, even if the other person has made an undeniable mistake.”
