On June 2 (local time), The New York Times reported that Israeli actor Noa Tishby (46) has emerged as a representative figure for Israel in the United States. She is currently residing in Los Angeles, California.

According to the report, Tishby is opposing a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, asserting that “Israel has the right to protect its citizens.”

She emphasized, “Israel has been subjected to brutal attacks by barbarians trying to destroy Israel. If Mexico did the same to the United States, no one would urge the U.S. to ‘show restraint.'”

Tishby also criticized the anti-Israel protests taking place at various universities in the U.S., raising her voice, “Imagine students on American campuses holding rallies in support of Al-Qaeda after the 9/11 attacks. That’s what’s happening on American campuses now.”

Her previously published book is also gaining renewed attention. Tishby’s ‘Israel: A Simple Guide to the Most Misunderstood Country on Earth’ made it to the New York Times paperback bestseller list for the first time last month.

Tishby is a famous actor and model in Israel. She started acting in Israel in the 1990s and immigrated to the U.S. in the early 2000s. She has appeared in dramas such as Star Trek, CSI: Miami, NCIS, and Valentine.
