Will actress Scarlett Johansson return as Black Widow?

Foreign entertainment media The Direct reported on the 8th (local time) that Marvel Studios CEO Kevin Feige has opened up about the rumors of Scarlett Johansson’s return.

Rumors are circulating that Marvel, which has recently experienced a series of box office failures, is considering the return of an original Avengers member.

Kevin Feige, who appeared at the premiere of the movie The Marvels held in Las Vegas, USA, on the 8th (local time), said about the rumors, “It has not been discussed yet. It is true that we are working on a project with Scarlett,” adding, “I love Robert. He is part of our family. But we’ll have to wait and see about the return.”

Scarlett Johansson’s character Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow, who she has portrayed in the Marvel series, sacrificed herself by jumping off the cliff of Vormir to obtain the Soul Stone in Avengers: Endgame in 2019.

Some argue that the return of a character who has already died would ruin the entire series, opposing her return.

However, no specific information is known about the MCU project that Scarlett Johansson is said to be producing.

Nevertheless, some fans speculate that Scarlett Johansson is working on a project related to ‘Black Widow.’ The rumor is that she will most likely participate in a work featuring Yelena Belova, the successor to Black Widow.

However, the new MCU project, which is being kept top secret, was temporarily suspended due to the Hollywood strike in the United States but has been confirmed to be back in progress.

Meanwhile, The Marvels, the third work of Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 5 and the sequel to the movie Captain Marvel, was released yesterday (8th).

The Marvels is drawing attention as it is known that famous Korean actor Park Seo-Joon is appearing as the husband of Captain Marvel (played by Brie Larson) and the singing prince of Planet Yan.
